What We Do
We are a group of students from the University of Alberta that have experienced frustrations with finding campus events.
Our mission is to bridge students together through events. We want to achieve that by creating a student events app to help students find and host local student events.
Our goal is to boost attendee rates of events all across campus, as well as increase awareness for students looking to join events. Not sure about you, but that sounds like a win-win to me!
See student events near you
With the map, you can easily see which local events are located near you. But hey, if you don't want to use the map, you can simply scroll through the event list or search for a specific event(more student features coming soon)
Students only
Our app requires users to login with their University email. This allows us to create a safe space for students to join/host events.
Anyone can host events
Hosting a casual events should be easy. With Popin, students can host private/public events within minutes.
